Since being established as partnership of Paul Stafford and Peter Haensli, in 1971, Stafford Haensli Architects (SHA) has enjoyed a steady pattern of growth and achievement to become one of Ontarios recognized architectural firms with diversified portfolio of Institutional, Commercial, Residential and Industrial projects. Majority of our projects are in the area of Community Use facilities such as Educational projects, Community Centres and Sports Facilities.
Since February 1989 the firm has been incorporated (Stafford Haensli Architects Inc.), allowing the majority of our senior staff to participate as Directors and shareholders in the continuing management and growth of the firm. More than 50% of our senior staff are participating shareholders, which helps to achieve the important objective of ensuring that our clients receive personal attention and continuity from all levels of management.
In past 32 years Stafford Haensli Architects Inc. has actively participated in the planning, design, and construction of more than 400 projects which form our diverse portfolio of educational, recreational, sport, cultural, residential, commercial and industrial developments.
We are fully capable to assist our clients with a comprehensive range of services starting from Feasibility Analysis through Design/Contract Documents, Approvals to Construction Review and Facility Commissioning. We have successfully assisted our clients in following areas:
Our community use projects have received design awards from the Cities of Mississauga, Brampton, Milton as well as from Athletic Business (USA based award program). We are also proud to mention that Ontario Hydro has given our projects an Award of Distinction in their Energy Efficient Savings by Design Program.

Our head office is located in Mississauga, on Hurontario Street near Highway 401, just west of Toronto's Pearson International Airport. From here we are able to access a variety of site locations, regions, and continents. We maintain small satellite office in Burlington for active projects in Halton Region. We maintain active presence in Europe with active office in Bratislava, Slovakia, which allows us to access all Central European clients. Our present staff represents a diverse range of nationalities, experience and educational background with capabilities to administer projects in 10 languages. Majority of our staff members have been with our firm for most of their professional careers. Our professional Architectural and Engineering team is capable to prepare full project documentation in several languages. Our positive approach to integration of Information Technologies (IT) into all phases of our practice has allowed us and our clients to take advantage of increased productivity, accessibility of project information and better overall control of projects we work on. We are committed to continue in this direction in order to provide our clients with assurance that they can always count on this added value of our service.
